Kevin R. Gilmore has over 33 years of broad experience in taxation, auditing, computer accounting system implementation, and business consulting and advising for a variety of clients.
Before reopening his own CPA firm in 2004, Kevin was a partner at the regional firm of Smith, Lange and Phillips LLP where he was the partner heading the auditing and computer system implementation departments. Prior to Smith, Lange & Phillips LLP, Kevin was the sole owner of a full-service CPA firm for 11 years. Before acquiring his own firm in 1990, Kevin was a partner at the regional firm of Good & Fowler CPAs, where he was responsible for financial statement preparation, tax planning, cash flow projections and other management advisory services, including instructing staff on corporate tax preparation, computer systems and software and financial statement analysis.
Kevin earned his BS Degree in business administration from San Francisco State University in 1980. He is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, as well as the Institute of Business Appraisers. He is a member of the board of directors at Mission Hospice of San Mateo. Kevin lives in Millbrae with his wife Robin and has three grown children. Kevin enjoys playing golf and fly fishing.
