Tax Manager

Candidate:

We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team full-time before the upcoming 2021/2022 tax season.

Who we are looking for?

We’re specifically looking for someone who is now, or is ready to be, a Tax Manager and has a regional or large local CPA firm background. Maybe you are ready to make a move to see what it’s like to take on more responsibility and have more direct client contact. Maybe you are just looking for a change and a chance to use what you’ve learned already. Maybe you need a flexible work schedule that allows you to work both from home and the office in a cloud-based environment.

We want a professional that can prepare complex returns, review returns prepared by others, and handle tax planning and projections. Someone who can work with directly clients and partners to complete tax returns and research tax issues.

We want a professional who can mentor/train others. Someone who can manage a list of tax returns and projects moving to completion in a timely manner.

We want a professional who can figure things out. Someone who wants to learn new stuff, use new tools, and figure a better way to get things done while maintaining high quality.

We want someone who likes to work in a friendly environment; says please and thank you, and pitches in to help where help is needed.

Qualifications

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on tax returns at a regional or large local CPA firm.
  • You have prepared and/or reviewed annually a large number of Individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, and Partnership tax returns. Use of Lacerte tax software a plus.
  • You must possess excellent communication skills - you know how to explain tax concepts to staff and clients, and how to research tax questions and clearly summarize the results.
  • Interest in working on some general accounting and other CPA firm services is a plus but definitely not required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year plus full benefits
