Caprice K. Wummer has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, and is highly qualified in the tax arena. She has extensive experience working with individuals as well as clients in a range of businesses including partnerships, LLC’s, corporations, estates and trusts. Addtionally, Caprice is in charge of financial statement engagements for clients involved in non-profit children’s services, real estate, and other service industries.
Caprice's expertise in not-for-profit organizations includes extensive knowledge on the standards of financial auditing issued by the comptroller of the United States and the provisions of the OMB Uniform Guidance. Caprice enjoys working with clients in the not-for-profit area and strives to plan audit engagements in a manner that best utilizes everyone’s time and resources.
Caprice earned her B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1984, and her M.S. degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1990.
Caprice lives in Castro Valley with her husband and one of her three children. She is very active in several nonprofit organizations that support the arts and education in Castro Valley, and she enjoys golf, yoga, and travel in her spare time.
